26-27 KINDERGARTEN STUDENTS
We will be bringing in Kindergarten students later than normal on the first day of school only. Kindergarten students should arrive at 9:15 a.m. Staff will be there to direct you to the appropriate line. Families will enter the school via the main door and exit the school via the entrance by the Kindergarten classrooms. Staff will help sort your child’s items into their lockers once they are settled in their class.
***All Kindergarten students will be dismissed at 2:10 for the first week only***
Starting Monday, September 14th, they will be dismissed at 2:30 p.m. with all other students.
Bussing for our Kindergarten students does not begin until the first full week of school. Kindergarten students can begin using the bus on Monday, September 14th, 2026. Please note as per the Kindergarten Transportation Identification Protocol, all students will have a luggage tag attached to their backpacks that will display their bus route and bus stop only.
Please note the following points from the transportation policy:
Ensure an approved adult is present at the door of the school bus for both pick up and drop off. Being in a vehicle, door or window of home is not acceptable
Understand that student transportation privileges may be suspended if the student is not met at the door of the school bus
If an adult is not present at the bus stop to collect their child, bus drivers are required to return the child to school and families are responsible to pick them up at the school

All students have access to a school bus. Parents who have not already created an account (and wish to do so) can go in, create an account and add their child to their account at the above link. Parents will need the following information in order to add their child:
1. Student Number**
2. Student Date of Birth
3. '26-'27 School
4. '26-'27 Grade
**If you do not know your child's Student Number, you can email jennifernoseworthy@nlschools.ca to request it.
Our school community includes students with severe allergies to FISH, SHELLFISH, PEANUTS and TREE NUTS. To help keep all students safe, we ask parents/guardians not to send foods containing or potentially containing these items to school.
Please note that WOW Butter is also not permitted. As it can be difficult to distinguish between WOW Butter and peanut butter, we are unable to safely allow it at school.
Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all students.
